Terms of Service
The basic rules that govern use of this website. Engagement terms for actual consulting and product work live on a separate page.
Effective date: May 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the Adya website at adya.one (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. About the Service
Adya is operated by Aditya Gupta as a consulting and product studio. The Service is primarily an informational website with a small set of account-gated pages. Any actual consulting, product, or engineering engagement is governed by a separate written agreement; this page covers only the Service itself.
3. Accounts and email
Some pages may require you to sign in. The only personal information we store for an account is your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and any third-party sign-in provider secure. You may close your account at any time by emailing adi@adya.one.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or related systems; (b) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (c) scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the Service without permission; or (d) use the Service to transmit malicious code, spam, or unlawful content.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Service — including text, design, code, and visual assets — is owned by Adya or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to view the Service for personal and legitimate business evaluation purposes only.
6. Third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example, OAuth sign-in providers, hosting, or analytics). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third-party services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Billing
The Service does not process payments. All billing for engagements, retainers, or other paid work is handled offline through invoices and the relevant engagement agreement.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adya disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Information on the Service is provided for general purposes and does not constitute legal, financial, or other professional advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adya and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to USD 100.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time and for any reason, including suspected violation of these Terms. Sections intended to survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to adi@adya.one.
